Identity and Access Management Architect Position Summary The Identity and Access Management Architect is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Identity and Access Management Architecture service program. The position is responsible for the planning, design, and the support of the Identity and Access Management Architecture functions and all its components. This individual will focus primarily on identity and access management architecture of systems and applications for Bose. The Identity and Access Management Architect will work closely with the broader Enterprise Security Architecture team at Bose. In addition, the Identity and Access Management Architect will work closely with the Security Architecture Manager, Cloud Security Architect, Network Security Architect, and the broader Cybersecurity Architecture group. Primary Responsibilities: - Research, analyze, and design identity solutions and services that effectively support the enterprise technology strategy
- Ensure technology solutions and services are architected appropriately for the availability, accessibility, compliance, and scalability requirements of the organization
- Plan and guide implementation of technologies, policies, and processes aligned to Bose's overall strategy
- Define and report key metrics and key performance indicators to the Security Architecture Manager from an identity and access management architectural perspective
- Collaborate with the broader Identity and Access Management team to support the vision and strategy
- Design, architect, and solution for internal security projects to ensure new security tools are secure and effective
- Review current state Identity architecture security measures and recommend enhancements
- Work with the Identity and Access Management team to align Identity and Access Management solutions to the enterprise security architecture strategy
Qualifications: - Educational Requirements: Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, or related fields are a plus, but not required; practical experience is taken into consideration
- Experience with Security Architecture and Information Security strategy, practices, technologies, and tools
- Experience with Identity and Access Management technologies, policies, and processes
- Experience with OAuth, SAML federation, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Privileged Access Management
- Experience with Active Directory
- 7+ years of industry experience, and 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Must be able to manage a team
- Technical expertise in Enterprise Security Architecture, including common security and identity and access management reference architectures
- Strong understanding of commonly used enterprise applications (e.g., SAP)
- Knowledge of major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated technologies
- Ability to lead in a team-oriented environment that is multinational and cross organizational with a managed service component
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- CompTIA Security+
