Job Title: Offsite Linen Distributor 2nd Shift

Schedule: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Location: Grady Healthcare Laundry Facility

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Offsite Linen Distributor to join our team at the Grady Location. This role requires strong decision-making skills the ability to act quickly and excellent communication. Essential Functions

• Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated areas.
• Collect soiled linen from various locations and return it in covered carts.
• Verify linen quantities for delivery and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct linen inventory as required.
• Address and resolve client issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client concerns and linen quality.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support.
• Uphold quality and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean orderly and safe work environment.
• Follow all institutional procedures and Joint Commission standards.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties as needed.
• Perform general clerical tasks such as typing and answering phones.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 12 years of experience in healthcare manufacturing or similar industries.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to lead when necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods walk bend stoop twist and reach.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Comfortable working evenings weekends and holidays.
• Open to giving and receiving feedback.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications.
