For over three decades, Dr. John K. Dooley, along with his staff, has stayed up-to-date on his knowledge of the latest in dental treatments and technologies of the digital dental world. Located at 355 Parkway 575, Woodstock, GA 30188. Our practice works to realize a shared vision of uncompromising excellence in dentistry.
We are seeking an amazing dental assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience in general dentistry . We are a modern hi-tech practice using Cerec daily. This position will be incredibly rewarding for those who are a great fit. Although we have a job to do, we have a lot of fun in this office so be prepared to laugh throughout the day. We have great benefits so don't hesitate to ask.
Full-Time Schedule:
- 4 Days/Week
- Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm
- No Weekends

Job duties may include but are not limited to-
- Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
- Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
- Promotes an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene, questioning patients to ascertain home care status, instructing patients in techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol.
- Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
- Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
- Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
- Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
- Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
- Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
- Take digital radiographs.
- Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups and instrument sharpening.
Compensation based on experience: starting at $26/hour
