We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The Administrative RN will play a crucial role in bridging clinical expertise and administrative functions within our organization. This position involves managing patient care operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for promoting efficient healthcare practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee administrative functions of the nursing department, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care and improve clinical processes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, addressing any deficiencies or quality concerns as needed.
- Analyze data and metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on administrative procedures, quality assurance, and patient safety.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, management, and other departments to enhance communication and teamwork.
- Participate in patient care meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the onboarding and mentoring of new nursing staff members.
- Manage patient documentation and electronic health records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding administrative aspects of care.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in an administrative or leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance processes, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Position Type: Full-Time/Contract Basis
