Electrical Service Technician

We are currently seeking highly skilled, reliable, self-motivated Electrical Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will respond to all service tickets, perform routine maintenance and conduct quality checks to residential and commercial properties. Electrical Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently repair electrical systems
Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down times
Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted
Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality
Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all times
Communicate preventative maintenance needs to stay ahead of potential issues
Troubleshoot all problems effectively, performing quality, lasting repairs
Install new equipment and wiring, as needed
Log all services, update tickets and report progress to leadership
Always seek the solution that is most cost effective without compromising quality
Maintain all equipment in excellent working order
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure job is completed to satisfaction
Other duties, as assigned
Electrical Technician Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, electrical certificate/degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience working as an electrical technician
Active drivers license in good standing
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and all necessary equipment
Experience in residential/new construction (rough/trim), installing basic fixtures and devices
Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
Able and willing to follow all legal and company safety regulations
Solid working knowledge of electrical symbols, NEC code regulations
Able to professionally communicate effectively with supervisors, on-site builders/leadership, government representatives and homeowners
Able to update tickets, job orders and records electronically using company-provided equipment
Maintain proper records of supplies used/returned to ensure accurate inventory counts
Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Physical ability to complete this type of work, often in demanding environments
Comfortable to work independently, mentor an electrical helper and/or partner with team with minimal supervision
Experience in both commercial and residential (new construction and established) settings strongly preferred
