Investigator – Background Screening Operations
Position Type: Temporary (January–April) with potential for permanent placement
Schedule: High-volume workload; collaborative team environment
Work Environment: On-site only (Not a remote position)
SelecSource is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investigator to support background screening operations during peak season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with data, and value strong teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, research, and accurately input data into internal systems
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, track, and verify information
- Perform investigative tasks to support background screening processes
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage a high volume of assignments while meeting productivity and deadline expectations
- Collaborate closely with team members and maintain positive working relationships
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong data-entry skills
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in data entry, research, or administrative roles preferred (not required)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain productivity in a high-volume environment
