Printing Press Operator

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Pay: $20 - $25 (dependent on experience)

Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor multi-unit web presses per job specs.

• Review job tickets, proofs, and work orders; adjust ink, speed, registration, and equipment.

• Inspect output for color, registration, and clarity.

• Troubleshoot press issues, perform minor maintenance, and ensure safe operation.

• Track production metrics, maintain documentation, and prepare jobs.

• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Suggest process improvements to boost efficiency and quality

What You Bring

• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read job tickets, specs, and use measuring tools.

• Strong attention to detail during long production runs.

• Communication skills; able to work independently or on a team.

• Physical ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift 50 lbs (equipment support for heavier rolls).

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Press experience a plus—training provided for motivated candidates.
