Construction Superintendent - Hyperscale Data Center

A Construction Superintendent is needed to lead the on-site execution of a $18M, 25,000-square-foot hyperscale data center project in Cartersville, GA. This ground-up turnkey build includes office and shop spaces, from initial concrete pour through full MEP installation and final finishes. The Construction Superintendent will own daily field operations, schedule management, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and quality control for on-time, on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities - Construction Superintendent

• Lead all on-site construction activities from site work, foundations, and structural concrete through MEP systems, interior buildout, and closeout. Oversee work sequencing to optimize productivity and avoid trade conflicts.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field staff to ensure scope, quality, and safety requirements are met. Conduct daily site walks, progress meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed construction schedules using Procore and other construction management software. Maintain accurate daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
• Enforce site safety programs and lead by example to maintain a zero-incident jobsite. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, local building codes, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, owners, and design teams to communicate progress, risks, and solutions. Support commissioning, inspections, turnover, and final closeout documentation.

Qualifications - Construction Superintendent

• 5 to 10 or more years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on major commercial or industrial construction projects. Proven track record delivering ground-up builds from foundation through completion.
• Strong background managing complex scopes including concrete, MEP, interior finishes, and building envelope. Demonstrated ability to sequence work and manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Procore and other construction management and scheduling tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve field issues quickly and effectively.
• OSHA safety knowledge required. OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications - Data Center Site Superintendent

• Data center, mission-critical, industrial, or high-tech construction experience
• Experience with turnkey delivery models on projects valued at $10M or more
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and owner turnover requirements
• Experience managing MEP-heavy scopes typical of critical facility construction

Physical Requirements - Construction Superintendent

• Full-time on-site presence at the Cartersville, GA jobsite required. Standard construction hours with occasional extended hours as project demands.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout an active construction site for extended periods.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and dust. Use of personal protective equipment required at all times on-site.
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain, scaffolding, ladders, and multi-level structures.
