We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Darien, GA. Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and schedule repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
