Warehouse Associate

Summary

Under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, lead, and Logistics Coordinator, this role will route, audit, and process sales orders, samples, returns, and RMA’s, Cycle counting , inventory control. The Warehouse Associate main focus will be in expediting and making sure all orders are shipped on time and correctly..

Responsibilities

• Ensures to adhere to NDS Safety policies and processes
• Warehouse Associate is to accurately fill NDS customer orders in agreement with the Warehouse SOP.
• Helps with the developing, implementing and maintaining of warehouse procedures.
• Provides immediate feedback to the Warehouse Supervisor on all warehouse activities.
• Leads by example and executes all processes with a swift and team spirit attitude
• Coordinates with customer service the execution of extraordinary customer requests
• Takes ownership for all aspects of the day to day warehouse operations
• Helps the Warehouse leadership plan the daily warehouse activities
• Audit and make sure orders are audited in a timely amnner,
• Capture waights and dimensions for each order
• Properly routing each order to the best carrier, ensuring acuracy.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license.
• Proficient in a warehouse environment with an increasing level of responsibility.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse operations , material handling equipment and shipping practices.
• Ability to comprehend, follow and teach procedures and instructions.
• Ability to process order fulfillment using wireless devices and printers.
• Able to communicate with Warehouse Associates the daily activities and goals.
• Must be able to lift minimum of 40 lbs. must be able to operate forklift day or night.

Work Conditions

• Warehouse environment to include inside and outside storage space which may be noisy and dirty.
• Personal Protective equipment required – Safety Glasses, closed toe footwear and ear plugs.
