Senior Program Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Program Manager to join their team. This role requires close collaboration with their Product and IT teams to manage various upcoming projects. They will be using Smartsheets, Jira Align, along with other PM tools. This candidate needs to be an expert at communicating with stakeholders and driving/road mapping initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• The Senior Program Manager will oversee a lot of the main supply chain priorities and manage upstream supply chain activities; This role is essential for maintaining high standards of Agile project execution and ensuring seamless coordination with IT and Product Management teams
• In this position, the Senior Program Manager will partner with cross-functional teams; They will regularly present status reports and updates to senior leadership, including creating dashboards and PowerPoint presentations, and providing comprehensive project overviews
• Vendor management is another crucial aspect of this role; The Senior Program Manager will oversee vendor testing and ensure that standardized processes are followed and updated with new technologies as needed; Effective resource management is also key, requiring close collaboration with IT managers to align resources with long-term project goals
• Hands-on approach and at least 7-8 years of project/program management experience and heavy supply chain experience; This person will need to be a self-starter, with a go-getter attitude
• Experience with tools like Smartsheets and Jira Align is essential for supporting the success of our projects; Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate project details to various stakeholders are crucial
• Experience with development focused projects in and Agile environment
