As a Security Officer - Site Access in SAVANNAH, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the interior, exterior, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe truck and visitor activity, and report unusual conditions, damaged equipment, and/or operational concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and inventory protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or unsecured areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
