Field Service Technician (Kennesaw)
TRC Talent is looking for a Field Service Technician!
Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team. This role requires extensive travel, a 3-year commitment, and a strong passion for learning how to maintain and repair industrial printing machinery.
Job responsibilities:
Apply the mechanical and electrical concepts related to printing press equipment in a real-world setting
Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of Heidelberg machines
Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding the customer’s need to stay productive and communicating the steps required to get their machines operational
Travel to customer sites regularly; attendance and punctuality are crucial
Be available for overtime or weekend work as needed
Job requirements:
- Willingness to travel 80–100% during the program
- 3-year commitment to the apprenticeship program
- Background in mechanical/electrical, mechatronics, robotics, or similar fields
- Enjoys hands-on work and demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Capable of basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Proficiency with basic computer skills
- Must be 21+ years old (due to travel and car policy)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
