Looking for a Senior Relationship Manager with 10–15 years of experience in Middle Market and Large Corporate Banking team with a major International Bank in Atlanta
The Middle Market Banking & Large Corporate Banking team at a Major International Bank in Atlanta focuses on delivering comprehensive banking solutions to upper middle-market and large corporate clients. The Senior Relationship Manager will develop and manage a portfolio of clients, providing strategic guidance, financial solutions, and transaction support.
This role requires a relationship-oriented professional who can drive business development, manage credit risk, and collaborate across internal teams to execute financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Business Development
- Develop new client relationships through proactive business development, leveraging referrals, existing clients, and centers of influence.
- Manage existing client relationships, fully understanding clients’ goals and business operations.
- Provide strategic advice to help clients achieve business objectives while supporting the bank’s growth.
Transaction Execution & Portfolio Oversight
- Prepare initial deal screens and assist in drafting full loan presentations/credit approval memorandums.
- Support loan structuring, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring.
- Review financial statements, cash flow, and valuations to assess risk and ensure compliance with lending guidelines.
Collaboration & Team Leadership
- Work closely with Associates, Senior Associates, and Credit teams to execute client requests efficiently.
- Guide internal teams in preparing portfolio monitoring reports and responding to approval requests.
- Actively identify and mitigate regulatory, operational, and credit risks.
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in Middle Market and Large Corporate Banking.
- Strong track record of developing and managing client relationships, particularly with upper middle-market clients ($50M–$1B+ in annual revenue).
- Skilled in loan structuring, business development, and credit quality management.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- Completion of a Commercial Banking Training Program is a plus.
Skills
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial statements, cash flow, and valuations.
- Client-focused with excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of commercial banking clients and drive business growth.
