Remote Chat Moderator (US Only)

### **Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive **Remote Chat Moderator** to monitor, manage, and facilitate online conversations within our digital community platforms. Your primary goal will be to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging environment for our users while strictly enforcing our community guidelines.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* **Monitor & Moderate:** Review live text, user-generated content, and active chat rooms to ensure all interactions comply with company policies and community standards.
* **Enforce Guidelines:** Issue warnings, mute, or ban users who violate community rules (e.g., spam, harassment, inappropriate content).
* **Engage the Community:** Foster positive interactions, answer basic user inquiries, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
* **Escalate Issues:** Promptly identify and route technical bugs, severe violations, or complex customer support inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
* **Keep Documentation:** Maintain accurate logs of user reports, moderation actions, and community feedback.

### **Requirements & Qualifications**

* **Location:** Must be a current resident of the United States.
* **Communication:** Exceptional written English skills, including flawless grammar, spelling, and a professional yet friendly tone.
* **Availability:** Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, or specific shift rotations as needed.
* **Tech-Savvy:** Reliable high-speed internet connection and a functional laptop/desktop. Familiarity with moderation platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, custom live chat interfaces) is a major plus.
* **Soft Skills:** High emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to remain calm and neutral under pressure.
