Regional Sales Manager, Gulf Coast Region (Remote)

NSI Industries is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Gulf Coast Region , covering Georgia, Alabama, and Florida . Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region, this key leadership role is responsible for driving all sales activities across the assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with a network of Manufacturer’s Representative Agents to advance sales initiatives and deliver exceptional regional support. Core responsibilities include executing the national distribution sales strategy and leading efforts to promote and sell NSI Industries’ products to end users and electrical contractors throughout the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support NSI Industries relationship with our electrical distribution partners in the assigned geographical territory.
  • Leading the development of our share position in the region using sales techniques and lending previous successful experience.
  • Strategic account planning and execution of those plans with our agent network.
  • Scheduling in person and virtual meetings with potential customers and identifying opportunities to sell our complete product offerings.
  • Assembling a target list of distributors and contractors within the region.
  • Prospecting distribution and contractors within the territory to seek new ventures.
  • Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development.
  • Achieving KPI’s that include both revenue and profitability targets set by the Regional Vice President
  • Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships.
  • Attending relevant industry events and conferences to enhance NSI’s business interests.
  • Working closely with other regional sales managers and national account managers.
  • Develop into the regional “Champion” having knowledge of current industry news to identify opportunities for new business within the region.
  • Ability to prepare presentation content to be delivered in person or virtually
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years sales experience in the Electrical or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in sales as a regional or territory sales manager.
  • Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry.
  • Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • Appropriate product knowledge and ability to learn.
  • Travel required for this position - 70%.
  • Must be located within Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.


Salary: $130,000-150,000 dependent upon experience with a competitive sales incentive plan.
