Our growing dealership seeks an automotive general sales manager who's eager to coach our sales department on best practices for everything from generating leads, conducting effective follow-up, and closing deals. Compensation:$72,000 - $87,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Participate actively in the recruiting process to hire automotive sales representatives for all positions
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all auto sales to increase retention and referrals to drive repeat car sales
- Accurately record data on existing and potential customers in the CRM system to support sales efforts
- Direct day-to-day showroom operations to establish a positive environment for customers and employees, alike
- Monitor progress to forecasted sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to maintain profitability
- Must have strong leadership, organizational, financial, sales management, computer, and communications skills
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal vehicle sales regulations and trends in the auto sales industry is needed
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent - highly qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree
- At least five years of experience working at a car dealership with one or more years as a sales department manager or other management position is preferred
