Lead Pastor
Griffin Church is a multigenerational Southern Baptist congregation in Griffin, Georgia, committed to biblical teaching, authentic community, and active local and global outreach. We are seeking a Lead Pastor who will serve as our primary preaching pastor and as a leader among the Elders.
The Role
The Lead Pastor will provide Christ-centered spiritual leadership to the congregation, cast and steward vision, equip believers for ministry, and lead the church in disciple-making, evangelism, and community engagement. This pastor will operate within an Elder-led, team-based leadership structure as defined in our Constitution and Bylaws.

Strong expository preacher who equips and inspires the congregation
Affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
Proven ability to lead vision, build teams, and develop leaders
Shepherd’s heart for a multigenerational church
Mission-minded with a commitment to SBC cooperative work
