OverviewJoin a nationally recognized transportation insurance program as a strategic and operational leader. This high-visibility role is responsible for overseeing all facets of program administration and underwriting, with accountability for financial performance, service quality, and long-term growth initiatives. The Program Manager directs cross-functional teams and aligns departmental objectives to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
How you'll make an impactKey Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight : Lead underwriting, financial, administrative, and data processing functions to meet established branch performance targets.
- Strategic Leadership : Establish and execute both short- and long-term business plans. Monitor performance against strategic goals and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Financial Accountability : Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across departments.
- Talent Management : Recruit, develop, and manage team members. Ensure efficient resource allocation and staff alignment with program goals.
- Project & Process Management : Ensure completion of operational initiatives and special projects. Coordinate with corporate teams to align efforts and maintain compliance.
- Sales & Marketing Support : Collaborate with sales leaders to develop marketing strategies. Provide guidance to ensure goals are met and aligned with branch priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key corporate stakeholders. Manage contractual documentation and ensure business continuity.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in transportation insurance program management
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles and practices, with emphasis on transportation risk
- Strong financial acumen and operational expertise, with demonstrated success in P&L management
- Proficiency in network systems and business technologies to support strategic decision-making
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
