Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate early-career clinician as a Counselor/Therapist/Social Worker to join our teletherapy practice. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or licensed associate who is eager to build their career in a supportive and growth-focused environment.

The candidate must have formal training in EMDR therapy and a strong commitment to providing high-quality clinical care.

The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals and families, utilizing various counseling techniques to promote mental health and well-being. The Counselor will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct intake evaluations to determine client needs.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions (if desired) using techniques such as EMDR therapy, ACT, DBT, CBT, MI, and/or psychodynamic therapy.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and goals.
Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure client safety.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs.
Engage in clinical research activities as required to enhance service delivery.
Offer support in areas such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and behavioral management.
Facilitate art therapy or dance therapy sessions as appropriate for client engagement.
Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities or those experiencing chronic pain.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications

Formal EMDR training is required.
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an Accredited Program.
Valid state licensure or certification as a Counselor or equivalent credential.
Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation.
Familiarity with telehealth practices is advantageous.
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and mental health counseling techniques.
Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices related to client care.

Must secure your own clinical supervision (practice will reimburse costs).
Must purchase and maintain your own Professional Liability Insurance.

APC – Associate Professional Counselor
LAPC – Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
AMFT – Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
(Applicants must be in good standing with the Georgia licensing board.)

Compensation & Benefits:

$45/hour reimbursement rate (1099).
Supervision reimbursement (monthly).
2% Cost of Living increase every quarter.
Year-end bonus.

2 PTO days per month, rolling, with 15 client meetings minimum per week.
$1,500 annual CEU credit toward ongoing professional development.
