Job Position Description:

AERO Logistics is seeking an organized and reliable Operations Coordinator to support the daily activities of our Operations department. This entry level role is crucial in managing scheduled pickups and deliveries, monitoring driver performance, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and thrives in a fast paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate drivers’ scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Provide real-time updates to clients, drivers, and internal management.
• Communicate with departments and suppliers to meet transportation needs.
• Manage the daily logistics of a large fleet of drivers.
• Accurately input and maintain data within internal systems/databases.
• Facilitate effective communication among drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Resolve customer service concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Highschool graduate or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years experience in a logistics or transportation coordination role preferred..
• Strong data entry and typing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, or twist.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds.
• Perform repetitive hand movements to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
