Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key responsibilities, skills, aptitude, and knowledge:
• This individual works closely with the superintendent to supervise, schedule, and train a large crew of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. Incorporate and enforce safe work practices. Provide safety training for employees as directed.
• Apply fertilizers and plant protectants, including calibration sprayers and spreaders. Record all applications and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform irrigation scheduling and make basic irrigation repairs.
• Execute and manage golf course improvement projects.
• Perform basic mowing tasks and cultural practices when needed.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, working with the Golf Shop, Events Staff, and other key team members.
• The ideal candidate will be able to recognize problems and have an eye for the details.

Requirements:
4-year Turfgrass management preferred, or a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
1-3 years of golf course maintenance experience.
The ability to obtain a GA pesticide license within 6 months of employment.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year.
