Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity, safety, and efficiency. This role leads warehouse staff, coordinates workflow, and ensures all processes meet company standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support warehouse associates in daily operations.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Ensure productivity goals and deadlines are met.
- Train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Enforce safety procedures and OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and documentation.
- Address and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (email, reports, inventory systems).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a plus (if applicable).
