Electrical Data Center Specialist - Construction

Working as an Electrical Data Center Specialist, the successful candidate will support major commissioning projects across the US while developing deep technical expertise within the mission-critical sector. This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Superintendent, Commissioning Engineer, or Electrical Quality Specialist looking to work with advanced electrical systems and gain nationwide project exposure.

Responsibilities:
- Perform quality verification inspections throughout the electrical commissioning process across mission critical data center projects.
- Review commissioning documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved submittals and applicable industry standards.
- Complete and manage commissioning deliverables including FAT/FWT reports, torque logs, megger reports, equipment receiving documentation, field installation reports and energisation reports.
- Carry out inspections at key project milestones using quality control software and commissioning checklists.
- Upload and maintain commissioning records, readiness reports and project documentation within the project management system.
- Assist with tracking, documenting and resolving project punch list items and open commissioning issues.
- Work closely with project managers, commissioning teams, contractors and client representatives throughout project delivery.
- Maintain high quality standards while supporting successful project turnover.
Skills/Must Have:
- Previous experience within electrical construction, commissioning or quality assurance on mission critical or large commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and commissioning processes.
- Experience reviewing electrical installation quality and project documentation.
- Ability to interpret project specifications, drawings and equipment submittals.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working on active construction sites and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, electrical trade qualification or state electrical licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%) to project sites across the US.

Salary:
- Up to $150,000 Basic Salary
