**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
+ Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency personnel during incidents and/or drills, following established protocols.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccinations are required for hospital positions.
+ Ability to restrain individuals is required for hospital positions.
+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
