Job Opportunity – Gastroenterology – Georgia
Start Date: December 21, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage with rounding; no clinic coverage required
Highlights:
- One-week assignment (December 21–28, 2026) with potential for ongoing shifts as needed
- Bread and butter GI practice at a 196-bed acute care facility
- Inpatient coverage including rounding, procedures, ED consults, and inpatient consults
- 100% adult inpatient population (pediatric patients seen in ER only, no inpatient peds)
- ERCP training preferred for consideration
- Epic EMR system
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Georgia state license at time of submission
- Georgia DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
- Clean malpractice and background history for expedited credentialing
- Must be local to the area (no flights)
- Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (within 30 days)
