As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting departmental supervisors/managers and ensuring team success. You will contribute to operational excellence by guiding associates, maintaining production flow, and upholding standards for safety, quality, timeliness, and teamwork.

Your contribution:

• Perform work assignments as directed by your supervisor/manager.
• Instruct and train associates who are new to the department, the role, or Kysor Warren Epta.
• Monitor and manage materials within the department.
• Assist in distributing work assignments and maintaining required documentation.
• Fill in during supervisor absences on a limited basis to maintain production, efficiency, quality, and discipline.
• Support team performance by focusing on achieving results aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your journey:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Capable of performing departmental work at a high level.
• Able to read a tape measure, perform calculations, write legibly, and interpret specifications and assembly schematics.
• Positive role model for KWE Performance Management standards.
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing/distribution processes.
• Strong judgment and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of IT tools: SAP (basic part transactions, inventory, processes, scheduling) and Microsoft Excel/Word.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and electric production tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Working environment & physical requirements:

• Must be able to walk on concrete floors for 8 hours per day, with occasional overtime depending on production needs.
• Heavy or constant visual attention required while performing duties.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Frequent handling of job materials, including grasping, holding, turning, and sizing.
