Location: Suwanee, GA (Hybrid: 3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

This is not a heads down coding role. As the organization prepares to navigate a massive modernization journey, including the transition from legacy SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA and deep integrations with modern cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, they need a visionary leader. You will be the primary bridge between executive stakeholders and the internal SAP functional and analytics teams, providing the insight, architecture, and guidance needed to bring their global supply chain into the future.
What You Will Do:
Drive the Modernization Roadmap: Serve as the chief architectural advisor for the upcoming migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA and broader cloud adoption.
Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the primary technical liaison for business leaders, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative technical blueprints.
Guide the Functional Teams: Partner with the existing SAP functional and analytics teams, providing architectural oversight and ensuring development aligns with enterprise standards.
Design Cloud Integrations: Architect the secure connection between legacy on-premise ERP environments and modern cloud platforms, utilizing APIs, microservices, and modern integration patterns.
Risk & Strategy: Conduct risk assessments for proposed solutions, ensure compliance with global security policies, and evaluate emerging technologies to keep the organization ahead of industry trends.
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience: 7 or more years of experience in Enterprise IT architecture, systems design, or directly related strategic roles, preferably within a global Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment.
The SAP and Cloud Connection: Deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, specifically ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA transition strategies, combined with strong expertise in public cloud architecture.
Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. You must be comfortable leading whiteboard sessions, advising C-level stakeholders, and pushing back on technically unfeasible business requests.
Design Prowess: Proficiency in designing complex APIs, microservices, and hybrid integration patterns.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters or MBA highly preferred).
