Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is ready to hire a Seasonal Swim Coach to assist the Head Coach in the coaching and overall organization of the Cherokee Swim Team. This seasonal position starts in March and goes through August . Do you believe in moving at a pace that is comfortable for each swimmer? Are you able to motivate those you coach to do their best? As a Swim Coach, you can expect to earn a competitive wage of $15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour rates available for swim lessons. YOUR LIFE AS A SEASONAL SWIM COACH

As a Swim Coach, you eagerly arrive at the pool with an upbeat and exciting attitude ready to engage with our swim participants. You assist the Head Coach in coaching and the day-to-day operations of the Cherokee Swim Team. Beginning in early April, you attend all practice sessions and events until the end of the season in August. This includes preseason practices, senior events, dual meets, and an end of season party. With your excellent organizational skills, you assist in organizing swim meets which includes prep work, assisting individual swimmers, recording and posting start times, and post-race ribbon distribution.

You also have the opportunity to provide hands-on skill development of all our swim participants. During private, semi-private, and group swim lessons for all our members, you make sure that each individual feels safe and encouraged. You motivate swimmers both on our team and individual members to achieve their goals. You love that you get to spend your time in the pool. Each day, each lesson, and each student is an amazing opportunity to share your love for swimming and increase their swimming abilities.

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Experience in coaching all ages and levels of swimmers
