Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to rehab/extended recovery patients during the overnight shift, including monitoring vitals, neuro status, mobility, and pain management
- Administer medications and treatments per the plan of care; document responses and any adverse events
- Conduct regular assessments, update care plans, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physicians to support early mobility and safe discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with policy
- Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions per protocol; escalate to the appropriate clinician promptly

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in rehab/extended recovery nursing
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 06/01/2026 with a 12-hour night schedule
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity rehab setting and collaborate with a hospital-based care team
- Willingness to work the 7:00 pm–7:30 am night shift and to adapt to a 12x3 rotation
