Director, Amazon Connect Go-To-Market Leader

We are seeking a Director, Amazon Connect GTM Leader to own the go-to-market strategy and partner relationship for our Amazon Connect Practice. This role is responsible for generating demand, building pipeline, and cultivating our strategic partnership with AWS to position Slalom as the partner of choice for enterprise contact center transformation. You will represent Slalom to AWS Connect leadership, shape tailored solutions for our customers, and drive adoption of Amazon Connect across our client base.
This client-facing role requires deep expertise in contact center technologies and the Amazon Connect platform to help enterprise clients design, adopt, and scale cloud-based contact center solutions. You will focus on solutioning, consulting, and guiding customers through their contact center modernization journey.
As a trusted advisor, you will partner with AWS solution leaders, customer executives, and technical teams to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, and present recommendations that align with business outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a consulting professional with strong AWS and contact center expertise, pre-sales experience, and business acumen to lead clients on their customer experience transformation journey.
What You’ll Do
GTM Strategy & Demand Generation
- Define and own Slalom's Amazon Connect go-to-market strategy, partner relationships, and value propositions
- Develop go-to-market materials, campaigns, and repeatable offerings for Amazon Connect solutions in partnership with the Connect strategy and delivery leads
- Proactively generate demand through workshops, executive conversations, thought leadership, and industry events
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, driving opportunities from identification through close
- Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for the Amazon Connect practice
AWS Partnership Management
- Represent Slalom to AWS Connect leadership and cultivate strong, strategic relationships
- Collaborate with AWS sales, partner teams, and specialists to co-sell and drive joint customer success
- Stay current on AWS Connect roadmap, new features, and emerging capabilities to continuously update GTM offerings
- Bring market signals and customer feedback back to AWS teams to influence product direction
- Support achievement of AWS partner program requirements and certifications
Solution Sales & Client Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping define contact center modernization strategies, roadmaps, and solution architectures
- Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and executive briefings to align Amazon Connect use cases with business value
- Develop solution proposals, RFP responses, and presentations, translating complex technical concepts into business-oriented outcomes
- Design high-level architectures for contact center solutions using Amazon Connect, Lambda, Lex, Polly, and other AWS services in collaboration with our Connect Technical leads.
- Demonstrate Amazon Connect capabilities through prototypes and proofs of concept (e.g., intelligent IVR, agent assist, omnichannel routing, AI-powered analytics)
- Provide strategic guidance on contact center best practices, compliance requirements, and operational excellence
Delivery Collaboration
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solution designs translate into successful implementations
- Support AI-powered contact center innovations including conversational AI, sentiment analysis, and agent augmentation
- Ensure quality outcomes and client satisfaction across Amazon Connect engagements

- Consulting firm experience (Big 4, global SI, or boutique cloud/AI consultancy).
- Background in solution selling and account strategy, with experience in co-selling with AWS.

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for this role is listed below by market. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:
Director: $261,000-$320,000
San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, New Jersey, New York City, Westchester, Boston, Washington DC:
Director: $240,000-$293,000
All other locations:
Director: $220,000-$269,000
