Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg
- Provide patient-centered care in MedSurg/Telemetry units
- Manage cardiac drips, tracheostomy care, and chest tube management
- Initiate IV starts and obtain blood glucose measurements
- Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in floating to Med/Tele units as required
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- Proficient in cardiac drips
