Network Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in Duluth, GA. You will manage core switching technologies while ensuring reliable routing operations through protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network switches, including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, HP, and Dell devices.

• Manage LAN switching technologies such as Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN configuration, and VTP operations.

• Implement and support routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP for stable and optimized network connectivity.

• Conduct regular network performance monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution to ensure high availability.

• Perform firmware updates, device maintenance, and configuration backups for all network infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support network-related changes, upgrades, and security initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in network administration and enterprise networking.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with switching technologies, including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, HP, and Dell devices.

• Proficiency in LAN technologies and routing protocols such as Spanning Tree, VLAN, VTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
