Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia – Hybrid position offering a combination of in-office collaboration, court appearances, and flexibility.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have at least 1 year of criminal law experience to be considered.

Job Description

• Represent clients in criminal defense matters from intake through resolution.
• Manage an independent caseload while maintaining exceptional client communication.
• Appear regularly in court across multiple Georgia counties.
• Draft motions, pleadings, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Negotiate with prosecutors and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Develop case strategies and prepare matters for hearings and trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
• Utilize modern legal technology and case management systems in a paperless environment.
• Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license required.
• 1+ year of criminal law experience.
• Criminal defense courtroom experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Comfortable using legal technology and case management software.
