Support students in a dynamic school environment as a Per Diem Instructional Aide. These flexible, on-call opportunities are designed for compassionate individuals committed to making a positive impact on students academic, behavioral, and social growth. As an Instructional Aide, you will work 1:1 or in small groups to aid students with diverse learning needs, under the guidance of teachers and school staff.

Location: Chickamauga, GA
Job Type: Per Diem (as-needed, flexible scheduling based on school coverage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test compliant per district regulations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting the role

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and a collaborative team player
