Abeka 2-Year-Old Lead Teacher

Our school is in need of a 2-Year-Old Lead Teacher.

Job Details:

• The ideal candidate will also have a background in ECE with 3-5 years’ experience.
• We’re looking for a candidate who has a keen understanding of the needs of Toddlers up to 3 years of age as well as appreciation for learning and age-appropriate developmental goals for these age group.
• We’re looking for a dedicated role model professional who wants to provide children with an exemplary, college-preparatory education with the goal of preparing them to be a great future leader.
• Our ideal candidate must be knowledgeable on the use of Abeka curriculum for 2 -3 years old.

Teacher responsibilities and duties:

• Oversee the overall daily oversight supervision of children and class structure including set up and daily maintenance.
• Chaperon classes carefully to ensure all students are learning in a safe, constructive environment.
• Prepare materials for teaching with visuals needful for fun and stimulating learning experience.
• Provide hands-on activities to better engage students.
• Prepare comprehensive bi-weekly lesson plan that meet GELD standard.
• Assign correct and grade homework assignments, classroom work and students’ evaluation.
• Issue quarterly progress reports and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Participate in bi-weekly staff meetings and other school event as stated in the Faculty policy.

Teacher qualifications and skills:

• TCC or High School Diploma.
• 2+ years’ experience in ECE.
