Exciting opportunity for an experienced LPN who is passionate about supporting students in a dynamic school environment! This contract role offers the chance to make a direct impact by providing essential healthcare services to students, including those with complex needs. The assignment takes place onsite and runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027, offering full-time hours.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings (essential)
• Familiarity with working alongside students requiring tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, and wheelchair assistance
• Bus riding with students as needed
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, as you may be stepping in for the first three weeks with the possibility of an extended assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily care and health monitoring for students, including those with medical complexities
• Perform trach care, feeding tube management, mobility support for wheelchair users, and riding the school bus with students as needed
• Document all care and communicate clearly with school staff and parents as required
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all school and state health protocols
• Support a positive, caring, and safe school environment alongside other healthcare and educational professionals
