Junior Architectural Designer

:

Overview: Junior Architectural Designer with 0-5 years of experience to use Revit in the drafting and design of commercial buildings and some residential projects under the supervision of a Registered Architect.

Location: Athens, GA

Type: Full-time/Fully-remote allowing employees to work from a professional home office in professional attire during business hours within the state of Georgia and 1hour drive from the firm's office.

:

o Aiding in the design of commercial buildings, (Office spaces, Restaurants, Multi-family, Retail, Hospitality, Educational, Ecclesiastical), and single-family residential homes

o Helping the design team in material and finishes selections

o Architectural modeling in Revit to create floor plans, 3D models and ultimately complete plan sets for construction

o Opportunities to get involved in Charette meetings and collaborative Parti discussions

o Development of 3D rendered views of projects

o Collaboration with team members in all phases of design

o Meeting and or exceeding all deadlines given

o Attending project site visits as well as in office meetings both with clients and other team members

Remote Working Style: *The firm will not hire employees outside of the state of Georgia or further away than 1h drive from the firm's office.*

As we believe in providing a better work-life balance for our employees in this field of passion and overtime work we allow all our team members to work from the comfort of their own home office. Working hours are between 8am - 6pm. Site visits and in-office meetings will be a normal part of work, as such an employee's home office must be located 1.5Hr or less from the firm's office. Daily meetings will be held via the platform “Microsoft Teams”. Plans will be discussed, screen sharing will be expected and on camera video calls in professional attire without blurred backgrounds will be required and an expected part of the working day occurring all throughout business hours. All team members are available via “Teams”, email, text, or phone call during business hours for collaboration and support.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in architecture required

- Master's degree is a plus

- Revit experience required

- AutoCAD proficient is a plus

- 3D modeling and rendering experience is a plus

- Photoshop is a plus

- Internship experience in the field is required

- Remote work experience is a plus

- Driver's license required

- US work authorization required *the firm will not provide visas*

- Home office within 1Hr from the firm's office
