Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a progressive care/step-down setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and discharge planning.
- Monitor hemodynamics, administer medications safely, and manage IV therapies, including heparin drips per orders.
- Care for patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, substance use disorders, encephalopathy, and other complex conditions; respond to changes in patient status.
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio when on duty; document accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure timely vitals, assessments, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate with physicians, and support transitions of care and discharge planning.
- Adhere to BLS/ACLS protocols, infection control practices, and unit safety standards in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or similar setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts on a 2x3 schedule in a fast-paced unit
- Proficiency with IV therapies and heparin drips as per protocol
- Eligibility to work as a traveling RN in the United States
- Demonstrated ability to document clearly and maintain high-quality patient records
