This is a confidential search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a successful team at our client in the Marietta area. Excellent benefits and a hybrid schedule after a short training period!

Responsibilities include:

• Review for proper approval, coding, and data entry of all check requests, vendor invoices, and expense reports
• Prepare for check runs and review with the controller
• Month-end reconciliation of the AP ledger to the general ledger
• Research as needed for excellent vendor relationships
• Prepare 1099's
• Advise the Controller of unusual problems for help in resolving
• Cross-train and provide back-up to the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Special Projects as assigned by the controller.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Accounting or finance degree a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
