Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty. The unit cares for adult to geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, dysrhythmias, hypertension, sepsis, and vascular issues. The nurse will work a ratio of 1:4-5. Candidates must be proficient in Epic for charting. Experience with various telemetry-related patient care procedures is essential. Floating within the facility is required as needed. The nurse is expected to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. If assigned during a major holiday, the nurse will be expected to work. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
