Tax Planning & Advisory

Cartersville, GA | Hybrid preferred (2-3 days in-office)

• We are a growing financial planning firm building an in-house tax function focused on proactive, year-round tax strategy for high-net-worth clients and business owners.

What You'll Do

• Lead proactive tax planning for individuals and small business owners

• Collaborate with financial advisors to integrate tax strategy into financial plans

• Identify opportunities related to income planning, entity structure, and owner compensation

• Participate in select client and prospect meetings to provide tax insight

• Prepare and file individual tax returns for firm clients

• Prepare/review business tax returns (S-corps, partnerships, select C-corps)

• Support expansion of our tax and accounting services

• What We're Looking For

• Enrolled Agent (EA) credential (preferred)

• Experience with individual and small business tax returns

• Strong interest in tax planning and strategy, not just compliance

• Ability to communicate tax concepts clearly to clients and advisors

• Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a team environment

Work Structure

• Hybrid preferred: 2*-3 days/week in our Cartersville office*

• Predictable workload outside of peak tax periods

• Structured onboarding plan before your first tax season

Who This Role Is Not For

• High-volume, assembly-line tax prep environments

• Seasonal-only or short-term roles

• Pure compliance roles with minimal client interaction

• Individuals seeking a fully independent, non-collaborative remote role
