Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school special education teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in Dalton, GA. This role requires dedication to supporting diverse learners and creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards
• Adapting instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Providing behavioral support and fostering social-emotional skill development within the classroom
