Position Summary:

The Electrical Service Department Admin supports the electrical service department by assisting the Service Operations Manager in handling day-to-day administrative operations, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, technicians, and management. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination:

  • Assists service operations manager with -
    • scheduling and dispatching electricians and technicians to service calls, maintenance, or projects.
    • Maintain and update job calendars, service logs, and work order systems.
    • Coordinate with customers to confirm appointments and service times.

Administrative Support:

  • Create and manage service orders, job tickets, and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of jobs, permits, inspections, and client communications.
  • Prepare reports on service operations, technician utilization, and completed work.
  • Support the team with any other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, ideally in a trade or service-based industry.
  • Familiarity with electrical services or construction is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
  • Experience with service management software is a plus.
