Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stepdown care to provide high-quality nursing support in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract position focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care to those requiring intermediate monitoring between intensive care and general medical units.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions closely in a stepdown unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate as necessary
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience working in Stepdown or progressive care units
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
