Bale and Roll Clamp Operator

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required Responsibilities
- Specialized Maneuvering: Operate high-capacity forklifts equipped with hydraulic roll clamps to lift, stack, and transport large paper rolls without causing "starring" or edge damage.
- Bale Handling: Utilize bale clamp attachments to move, stack, and load compressed recycled materials or pulp into production lines or onto outbound trailers.
- Pressure Management: Demonstrate expert knowledge of PSI settings on hydraulic clamps to ensure a secure grip without crushing the core or deforming the product.
- Loading/Unloading: Execute precision loading of trailers and railcars, maximizing space while ensuring load stability for transit.
- Inventory Accuracy: Use RF scanners to track movement and maintain real-time inventory of specific paper grades and weights.
- Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of hydraulic hoses, clamp pads, and fluid levels to prevent equipment failure or product contamination.
