Travel Electrophysiology Technologist Job

Overview
Electrophysiology Technologist in an inpatient, acute care setting in Cumming, GA. Start May 11, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,436–$2,592 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with on-call coverage Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide procedural support in the EP lab and cardiac cath lab during EP studies and mapping/ablation procedures; assist physicians and maintain sterile technique
- Operate electrophysiology lab equipment, including electro-anatomical mapping systems and fluoroscopy; monitor patient status and collect hemodynamic data
- Prepare rooms and equipment, assist with catheter manipulation and data capture; ensure sterile field and instrument readiness
- Monitor vitals and sedation under physician direction; respond to changes and communicate with the care team
- Document procedures accurately in the medical record and support post-procedure patient care and transport
- Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; manage equipment inventory and room turnover

Requirements
- RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac cath lab
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Proficiency with EP lab equipment and mapping systems; strong communication and teamwork skills
