This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while maintaining safety standards and supporting team success.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouseManage order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillmentLoad and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of pallets with pallet jacks and clamp trucksConduct heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and mechanical best practicesAssist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracyUtilize heavy equipment such as cranes or construction-related machinery when required for specialized tasksMaintain a clean, organized work environment by properly storing materials and performing routine equipment inspectionsQualificationsProven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting with valid certificationFamiliarity with warehouse distribution processes, order picking, and materials handling techniquesKnowledge of heavy equipment operation including pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and crane use is preferredStrong understanding of OSHA safety standards and mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machineryExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving proceduresAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periodsPrior experience in construction or with heavy equipment operation is a plus but not requiredJoin our team as a Sit Down Forklift Operator and play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly!
