Production Worker/Installer

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers/Installers for a client in the Cumming, GA area. This is a contract to hire position that starts as a Production Worker and has the opportunity to advance into an Installer upon conversion.

Pay rate: $17-20/hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm. Occasional voluntary overtime offered. Once an Installer, travel both locally and domestically to client sites, usually for a few days at a time.

Responsibilities to start:

• Build and assemble custom products following established specifications and production instructions
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, stretching, sewing, and assembling components
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy standards are consistently met
• Manage materials and inventory by retrieving supplies and returning unused materials to proper storage locations
• Package and label completed products for delivery to customers
• Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Escalate production, quality, material, or equipment concerns to supervisors as needed
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support production demands and operational success

Installer responsibilities:

• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Travel to customer locations to install products.
• read/interpret installation drawings and work orders.
• Safely operate tools and machinery as authorized and trained.
• Assist with preparation of site.
• Report any job hazards, concerns, or material shortages.
• Measure, align, secure, and install products.

Qualifications

• Background as a tradesman or working with precise measurements.
• Comfortable working in both a manufacturing plant as well as outside in various weather conditions for 8-12 hours
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a federal background check
• Physically able to lift materials, bend, stand, squat, etc., for extended periods of time
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
