What You’ll Do:
- Work 1:1 with patients using evidence-based behavior strategies.
- Implement treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA.
- Track progress through detailed data collection and session notes.
- Collaborate with team members and families for the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain open, respectful communication with all team members.
You’re a great fit if you are:
- Reliable, ethical, and consistent in your attendance.
- Safety Care Training is required
- Crisis Prevention Institute Training is required
- Experience with high levels of maladaptive behavior

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or adolescents (1:1 or group settings).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and physically engage in active therapy (kneeling, squatting, etc.).
- Comfortable working with children with behavioral challenges.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
- Tech-savvy enough to collect data on electronic devices.
Able to travel locally (about 25% travel expected).

Reporting of Information Responsibilities
- Report any suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate government authorities in accordance with mandatory reporting laws, while being mindful of cultural, community, and family norms. Ensure that all concerns reported are grounded in credible observations or evidence, and avoid making assumptions that are not supported by objective concerns.
Educational Requirements
- Must have high school diploma/GED
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and adolescents in 1:1 or classroom/group settings.
- Must be able to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
- Must have a valid State Driver’s License & insurance in good standing.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS/EXPOSURE RISKS
- (With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift and carry patients.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with individuals with challenging behavior.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and support providers.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of patients during emergency situations.
